I am hoping others find this post as I also hope this helps you to your wondering why this isn't working for you. Then I found your post of not being able to DL Soulseek it's self! This is never the case since I have been with them, never heard o ever being any problem unless you are not computer suavy at all. I have open/closed/open/closed SOulseek many times, tried everything possible, and also find no threads about this current problem. Everywhere else is connecting (all other sites other than any Soulseek related sites). Soulseek is an ad-free, spyware free, just plain free file sharing network for Windows, Mac and Linux. I started to notice any Soulseek related website I attempted to go to was not connecting. I then started to google everything I can to figure this problem out. I had UL's & DL's fresh as if it was working not long before 9pm CST. I woke up to see that nothing was working. It has worked for me great for years on my Windows Vista OS.
I just woke up after sleeping since about 2pm CST.
